Dear Friend,

If you do not already have a habit of gathering daily manna the first thing in the morning (we can look at the example given to us in Exodus 16 and find the pattern for make it a habit. Establish your life and your schedule to allow you the necessary time to do your daily collection first thing every morning to give you the strength to make it through the day. And remember that today’s manna will not be sufficient for tomorrow; tomorrow’s manna must be collected tomorrow morning.

Today's Passage : Today's Passage : Nothing will be impossible for those who have even a little faith

Bible Verse:*Matthew 17:19-20*

"*Matthew 17:19-20* Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?” So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."

Message: When Jesus first sent His disciples out two by two, they were indeed casting out demons and healing the sick in His name. Those whom He sent were completely reliant on Him through their faith. The disciples knew they had no power within themselves to perform these miracles. They knew this was the power of God working through them. However, now the disciples are alarmed because they could not cast out this demon. Jesus then revealed to them their problem and it’s a problem we ourselves too often share. These disciples, like we can sometimes do, lost sight of their faith. And instead they placed their own personal egos and desires above their faith. They forgot Jesus and began to rely on themselves and their own abilities and talents for ministry. The problem was these disciples became too concerned over their spiritual gifts and what Christianity could provide for them, rather than being concerned about their faith and relationship with Christ. Therefore, they had lost the ability to cast out demons. What Jesus is reminding them is that nothing is impossible for God. However, without God, we become ineffective for His kingdom work. Dear child of God, we must never forget, we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit with us always, and we are to rely on God’s power and guidance and not our own abilities. Because when we stop relying on God, we start relying on the world, we start seeking the wisdom of the world which is at enmity against God. Therefore we must remember building our faith in Jesus, not only comes first, it’s the only thing we should seek. Remembering all spiritual gifts come from a single source, our faith in the person and divinity of Christ Jesus our Lord.
