Archived Daily Manna | Rejoice Fellowship | A mission to release people to rejoice in the world.

Dear Friend,

If you do not already have a habit of gathering daily manna the first thing in the morning (we can look at the example given to us in Exodus 16 and find the pattern for make it a habit. Establish your life and your schedule to allow you the necessary time to do your daily collection first thing every morning to give you the strength to make it through the day. And remember that today’s manna will not be sufficient for tomorrow; tomorrow’s manna must be collected tomorrow morning.

Message: One of the hardest things for us to do in our modern world today, is to not worry. We worry about our jobs, our family, our income, our children’s future, our parent’s future, our daily needs, and anything else we think we can control, we worry about. For a lot of us, we make worry the main focus of our lives, we base our entire lives on being prepared for those things we’re worried about. However, Jesus tells us not to do that. Instead, we are to place our trust in Him for our salvation and for our daily needs. Moreover, we also know this is impossible for us to do under our own power and God knows that! The good news is we are not supposed to accomplish God’s calling for us, by our own willpower! Instead, because of our faith in Jesus, God has sent us His Holy Spirit to guide us, give us strength and endurance and what we need to accomplish God’s will. The Holy Spirit helps us daily walk with the Lord and through submission to His guidance we learn to trust in the Lord. Through submission, we learn to trust Jesus as we grow in the knowledge of Him and His word. This doesn’t mean we stop working and taking care of our families. Rather, what it means is that we learn not to make worry and control the main aspect of our lives and the primary focus of our existence. We are not to worry about planning and controlling every little detail. Why? Because God is in charge, God is in control and when we stop worrying and when we stop controlling then we have time to hear the Holy Spirit and follow His direction for our lives. Dear child of God, we can’t live out God’s will for our life, until we give God the control of our lives. We have to understand God’s direction more often than not, doesn’t match our plans for the future. This is critical for us to understand. God the Holy Spirit will seldom, if ever, use our plans or do things the way we want them done. God has something better planned for us and it will often not match the comfortable life we had planned out. That’s why it’s so important to trust in the Lord and follow His guidance in our day to day lives.
