Dear
Friend,
If you do not already have a habit of gathering daily manna the first thing in the morning (we can look at the example given to us in Exodus 16 and find the pattern for collecting daily manna), make it a habit. Establish your life and your schedule to allow you the necessary time to do your daily collection first thing every morning to give you the strength to make it through the day. And remember that today’s manna will not be sufficient for tomorrow; tomorrow’s manna must be collected tomorrow morning.

Today's Passage : Today's Passage: Subject:Christ Will Return
Bible Verse:Revelation 5:6-14 (ESV)
"And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth. And he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne. And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying,
“Worthy are you to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God
from every tribe and language and people and nation,
and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God,
and they shall reign on the earth.”
Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,
“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might
and honor and glory and blessing!”
And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,
“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”
And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.
"
Message:
The Revelation of St. John the Divine is one of the less-often read books of the New Testament. In many mainstream churches, one hardly hears of it. The rich imagery is at once archaic and surreal. It seems confusing and bizarre and to the modern reader and, at times, seems to border on insanity. Yet it is part of the Holy Scriptures and we must view it as God’s word, no matter how hard it is to fathom.
Science and religion agree on one key point of Revelation: There will come a day when humanity will cease to exist in its present form. Christianity teaches that this will be a day of judgment and that Christ will reign over a better world. Literalists believe that the events described in Revelation will occur exactly as written.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, some Christians believe that Revelation should be read figuratively, or symbolically. But there is no real argument between the two: Whether or you believe that Christ will finally appear as a slaughtered lamb with seven eyes and seven horns is not very important. What is important is to know that Christ will return in glory to judge the living and the dead, and He will reign over the world in glory and honor.
Meditation
:
Prayer :
Lord, support me all the day long of this troublous life, until the shadows lengthen and the evening comes, and the busy world is hushed, and the fever of life is over and my work is done. Then of Thy mercy, grant me a safe lodging, and a holy rest and a peace at last through Jesus Christ, our Lord..Amen
