If you do not already have a habit of gathering daily manna the first thing in the morning (we can look at the example given to us in Exodus 16 and find the pattern for make it a habit. Establish your life and your schedule to allow you the necessary time to do your daily collection first thing every morning to give you the strength to make it through the day. And remember that today’s manna will not be sufficient for tomorrow; tomorrow’s manna must be collected tomorrow morning. Wednesday, May 21, 2025
Today's Passage : Today'sPassage:The Wisdom of the Spirit BibleVerse: 1 Corinthians 2:6-10, 13-16 "Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory. None of the rulers of this age understood this, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But, as it is written, “What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him— ” These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who knows a person's thoughts except the spirit of that person, which is in him? So also no one comprehends the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might understand the things freely given us by God. And we impart this in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, interpreting spiritual truths to those who are spiritual. The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. “For who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ. " Message:
Throughout the ages, many people have tried to prove that God exists. And just as many have tried to prove that He does not exist. Countless agnostics have tried to figure it out, letting myriad arguments pro and con fight it out in their minds.
But the existence of God, much less the presence of the Holy Spirit and the grace of Jesus Christ, cannot be proven or disproven with logic. What cannot be seen, cannot be discovered by the eye. Neither can what is spiritual be discovered by the mind. God can only be found in the heart and in the soul, for knowledge of Him is a spiritual gift.

When you find God, you are “subject to no one else’s scrutiny.” People who try to convince you that God does not exist are fools. They do not realize that logic and argument are fruitless; for, because God reveals himself to us only through the spirit, we cannot know Him or find him through debate.
We have recently read through the entire Book of Acts, where Paul converts countless people, Jew and Gentile alike, through his words. But if you read closely, you will notice that his basic argument is not an appeal to logic.
Instead, Paul testifies. He tells of events; he tells of his own experience; he tells of the testimony and prophecy of others throughout the ages. He relates the words of Christ and the prophets.
The wisdom of God, just as in Paul’s time when today’s Scripture was written, “is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age.” We cannot expect that the world will suddenly receive this wisdom. We can only share it, the best we are able, and let our spirit be seen through our actions.
Meditation : Prayer : Lord God, let me not put my trust in the words of men, for their minds are weak and their tongues are tainted by the world; but let me test everything having to do with faith against our only true teacher, Jesus Christ, and the true Word of God that was inspired through the Holy Spirit. Amen. |
