Manna: |
Dear
Friend,
If you do not already have a habit of gathering daily manna the first thing in the morning (we can look at the example given to us in Exodus 16 and find the pattern for make it a habit. Establish your life and your schedule to allow you the necessary time to do your daily collection first thing every morning to give you the strength to make it through the day. And remember that today’s manna will not be sufficient for tomorrow; tomorrow’s manna must be collected tomorrow morning.

Today's Passage : Today's Passage :God is very close to those who have a broken heart.

Message:
The Bible not only tells us about God and salvation; but it also gives us hope in everyday life. There are hundreds and hundreds of verses that speak to our daily situation including these. God promises that those who are broken in spirit, those who have suffered loss, suffered pain, those who find no hope in this world have hope in the Lord! Our God is the God of restoration! He restores lives lost to sin and He restores lives destroyed by the world we live in. The Bible tells us that Christ Jesus not only gives life; but gives it more abundantly. Moreover, these passages also speak of God-honoring humility. In order to truly come before the Lord in adoration and worship, we have to have a heart of humility before God. We need to truly understand in our hearts that God alone is sovereign and Christ alone provides for our salvation.
Anything which comes from this dark world will not satisfy the need our souls have for a relationship with God. Instead, it will make the desire grow deeper and stronger as the momentary pleasure of the flesh wears off. This need can never be completely filled until you come to faith in Christ. Only then can this desire which God has created in each and every one of us, be properly filled and satisfied.
